you introduce yourself please? -I
am an ordinary person. I cannot think that I have some exceptional
qualities. -Let
us ask your profession. Are you an author? -I am a simple native. Anyone who is given a special column in a newspaper or a periodical and who writes continuously in that place is named as a researcher&writer. ‘’Research’’
must be a very deep work covering many areas. In
addition to this, the researcher has to publish a thesis, or a book.
Such an academic title would be a luxury for me. If we can take into
consideration these facts, then I can add the following points:- In
my writings I do not like a style full of anecdotes. My
objective is to create a
whole by bringing together the old and the new. -Well;
then Mr. Ahmet or Mr.Mehmet is named as a writer too. What can you say
for this? -I must first of all say the following:- Unfortunately, I do not have a nobility in my family that comes through the genes. In
addition to this I did not have the chance to fight with the dominant
cultural values as some individuals had when they were still a child.
Therefore, I am spending tremendous effort for making advancements in
the art of writing. My
problem and concern is only with myself
and not with someone else. This
is my duty. This is the
objective for which I have been created. I
cannot know what Mr. Mehmet is writing. However, what is written by
Ahmet is in my opinion tiny pieces from Allah’ science.
Transferring these tiny pieces to others makes me happy. In
short, it is like the story telling about the rabbit’s water’s
water… _Even
if it is given by means of deception? -Don’t
you think that every action performed imitatively is some kind of a
deception? Even
the prayers have a mechanical aspect.
The one who does not return the trust back to its owner, in
which state of mind do
you think he lives? Isn’t
this condition accepted as the greatest sin? Can you establish a
connection between these?
We
must carefully watch how the concepts are accepted by the individuals
in the true sense. -Do
you like your essays? As
I have mentioned before, please be sure that I do not call them as
real essays. However, if there are people who say that they like them,
then there is nothing I can do. I
do not have the skill to make researches
of a large scale. I do not have a
variety of concepts. I
hope that in time I would be able to make a better arrangement in my
writings. In my opinion, being an author is to reflect the inventive,
creative quality onto the readers. I
can frankly say that I find myself poor
in comparison to this definiton.
Well, to state it more openly I do not think that I am at a
satisfactory level. -Is
it correct that you have
a dominating, dictative attitude towards other people? -I
cannot say that I am being
selfless, if I say
that I usually think
about a person more than he does for himself
and arrange my behaviour towards that person accordingly.
At first sight, this behaviour of mine
gives the individual the impression of
being dominated. I
have given up this habit, because I have been criticised very much
about this. -Do
you like gossip? _In
the general sense, gossip gives me physiological pain.
I do not know whether it is necessary for me
to repeat that it is very harmful from the mystical point too.
However, if the gossip is about science, then I love it and do
everything that I
can to inform other people about it. -To
what extent are you interested in sports? -I can realise the act of reading(feeling, sensing & understanding) best at the football matches. Therefore, I follow them closely. My favourite team is Fenerbahçe, but I adore Galatasaray. You can say ‘’This is a wrong mentality! What kind of a thought system is this?’’. Then my answer would be ‘’My life is not built on emotions!...’’ I
do not have the habit of making the truth glitter and
criticise badly what has been wrong. The
owner of my innate constitution has molded me to have a free
conscience and has labeled this quality with the asset of telling the
truth. -What
do you like most? -To
love my enemy and to make up a whole with the person whom I appreciate
and like. -Do
you mean the sexual aspect? -Getting
involved in such a relation
is not my type... What I want to say is the ability to create the
whole in the mind… This
has nothing to do with the physical body. It
cannot be explained in words, it can only be experienced and lived. -Whom
do you like most? -I
like those who leave marks.. Starting
with Hz.Rasul of Allah (I am using the word ‘like’
only for the purpose of explanation, otherwise I do not dare to
be so emotional so as to like him), Ahmed Hulusi, Stephan Hawking,
Einstein, Isaac Newton, Muhittin-I Arabi (Hz.), the writer Çetin
Altan, Abdulkerim Ceyli (Hz.), Abdülkadir Geylani (Hz.), the singer
Tarkan, Omar Hayyam, Yunus Emre, Ernest Hemingway, Dostoyevski and
many others that I cannot think of now… This
is quite a complex picture, but these are my favourites… -From
which point do you look at life? -I
think, the most logical way of thinking would be to make an objective
reflection of a concept onto
the individuals instead of analysing
their characters, and concentrating on the complicated
psychological problems and finding solutions for them. I
have been witnessing very strange behaviour since some time .
Some of the humans,( an important majority) have stopped
enjoying life and instead
of this they have started to indulge in gossip and deal with the other
s. I
wish them all the good. However, I can say that I am not
sharing their opinions. -What
do you think about the Millennium? -We
must not think of the
Millennium only as an obsession and a strong desire. The
Millennium is the observation of
the activities pertaining
to the brain at a higher technological level. Those
who can get adapted and
keep in pace with it would reap the fruits from the dimension of
science/the thought processes. -What
do you think of sainthood? -I
can frankly say that it is my ideal.
The basis, the essence of
this position is the art of
perceiving. However, my considerably old age is a negative
factor for making advancements to attain this position. Of course, I
am not in a position to say ‘’I
hope the next time’’ (because there is no next time). -What
is the message that
you want to deliver in your essays?
-In
the indivuals who have been unable to criticise their wants enough, we
can see that there is violance. All
these violent actions are an obstacle for being mature. The
human beings should know how to stop at a certain limit whatever
actions they face. The
relations between the humans should never look like a ‘’dog
fight’’. Also, as a
result of the education and experiences we develop the abilities such
as ‘’living alone and being self sufficient’’.
At the same time we should resemble our life to a team race and
think of passing over the
flag from one person to the next one.. -What
about the taboos? -It
is necessary to go beyond the taboos in order to fly, to have wings
and to feel lighter. You
start as if you are everything, but in the end you should accept the fact
that you are nothing .
However, if you are preferring
to be a cheap hero, then the situation would be different. -Do
you mean that you are nothing? -I
can never be that!… -What
do you fear? -I
fear what comes to me . -Have
you ever experienced this? -The
human being should expect everything to come at
any instant. -Does
it help? -If
you do not react, then it brings enlargement and helps one to live and
practice the manners of Allah. -What
is your opinion on
Oneness of Existence? -Please,
leave it. We
