SERGEN, The Football Player

The technical director of the footbal team Fenerbahçe  Mr. Zerman is an Italian native with a Czechoslovakian origin. He is  rather allergic to the prima football players and he is prejudiced towards them. For this reason he had to leave every foot ball team for which he worked by leaving behind  an unsucessful career. This is the same in the case of Turkish football team Fenerbahçe. Director Zeman could not understand a young man who was at the most productive stage of  his career  in  foot ball;   he could not understand his character, his enthusiasm, his hopes and wishes.  Because of these reasons,  because of  his selfish behaviour  which was putting his personal tastes and choices in the first place, Mr. Zeman made this young player  leave the football team.

Sergen is considered as a ‘’problem’’ player by those who try to have material benefits from the football. Here, we must say that Sergen has a character   which is  unable to tolerate any kind of  injustice.

When he joined these character traits with his innate ability given by Allah, he always found himself  opposing to the  managers.

He used to  create miracles when he played free in the middle of the field.  However, when the managers tried to test him in a position where he had difficulty in getting adapted he was accused.  As a result of the certain  tricks

played consciously against him, he was accused of endangering the team’s future and he was forced to leave the team Fenerbahçe. A team whose identity had already been lost.

The main reason for their seperation was the following  mentality:-

‘’No one is greater than the team Fenerbahçe.’’

Murat Yarkın travelled abroad many many times by using the his fear of the earthquake as an excuse.  The number of  his overseas trips exceeded the total number of the weekly  flights made by the  Turkish Airlines to Switzerland.  He has really been a case in the Fenerbahçe group.  In spite of this fact, the managers tried to find solutions for making a positive approach towards him.   Amidst these conditions, I wonder to which of the habitants of the district named as Fenerbahçe belongs the brilliant!!  idea of  getting rid of Sergen .???

If you are interested in sports all what has been told would be familiar to you.

However, you wouldn’t help asking the question  ‘’Well, your web page reflects the philosophy of  Sufism, then what is the purpose of  this article?’’

I have told the above event in a very simple way.  What concerns me is neither the position of  Fenerbançe nor the personality of Sergen....

I think that the way Sergen builds and plans his play, the way he co-relates his technique with his mind and what is more his amazing abilities which bring  forth the creative aspect of the creator are teaching us a lot.

Getting the clear picture from an event in the first place is of primary importance to me.

This how my observation is...

If, in an area as simple as this we are unable to make positive criticisms, then how are we going to evaluate what sufism brings to us,

How are we going to read the system and most important of  all how are we going to know and understand Allah!...

Hoping to meet you next week....
