The humans are always
‘’one’’ with the creator, but they are never aware of this
connection and most of the time they do not know exactly what
they feel about the class of the saints whom they adore and
think to be rather extraordinary people.
It is very difficult for an
ordinary person to get in touch with his essence. If the human
being insists in not seeing this connection, then he would
never be at peace with the reality/the truth and he will pass
away from this world still living his individuality.
However, the points named as
‘’saints’’ are not like this. They have not yielded easily and
they have been successful to go into a dialogue with the
Absolute Being. When looked at from this point, it is very
beneficial to investigate the life of a saint/a wali. Please,
do believe me and I am not exaggerating, but they know all
about everything all over the universe… from the noise that the
wings of a butterfy make while flying to the voice that an
ant walking over blackstone in the darkness of the night has
made. This is the true information and not the false one.
The saint knows how to melt
in the same pot to be loving and to be angry. The saint
never hesitates to show his applications both in the positive
and the negative direction. Anyone who imagines a saint as
having a very calm nature would be mistaken. Also, it is a
great mistake to think of saint as a sweet old grandpa with
white hair. In general, the saint who is alive is not
recognised on this world.
The difference between a
saint and an ordinary human being is that the saint puts forth/
manifests the meanings of the beautiful names inherent in
himself in a balanced manner. He abstains from physical
pleasures as much as possible. In the lifestyle that he has
chosen, the consciousness lives without being dependent on the
physical body. The saint never deals with the shapes, nor he
needs any advertising and he never goes around to show off
himself. The saint prefers to be low profile and to stay in
the background.
The basic principle of all
the saints is to look at the events through the higher mind and
the insight rather than being dominated by the feelings/emotions
. A saint knows very well how to control his
heart/consciousness and his body which is its natural
elongation .
The saints have taken from
Hz.Mohammad their philosopy and principals. The common thing
among the saints is that all of them know the factors that form
the universe of existence.
Basically, the ideas among
the saints do not develop in various directions. However, it
wouldn’t be correct to put the saints who have attained the peak
point and the ones who are at the bottom level together on the
same scale .
According to the saints, the
world which speaks/appeals to our sensory organs does not
reflect the truth.
For some of the saints the
universe is the true origin. Whereas for some the existence is
imaginary, it is only a vision (an illusion).
For the saints the valid
thing is the concept of the ‘’instant’’. The instant is
infinite and it melts all the times within itself. This is
another way of explaining the observation/contemplation of
the One. What is real is the ‘’Spirit/the Soul’’ and that
spirit/soul is the truth.
A normal person has been
furnished with feelings such as pain, suffering, jealousy,
greed, anxiety, excessive desire and the similar. S/he gets
burned in a kind of inner fire, whereas a saint knows that this
fire of the human being has to be extinguished one day.
The saint does not taste any
suffering, pain and there isn’t any event that’ll make him fear,
become sad or cry in grief .
The saint has understood the
value of the science and the limits/ the measurement. He has
also understood the truth that the universe has not been made
up of parts and the Absolute One, the indivisible power ,
exists in every particle and acts with absolute consciousness.
He has also understood the importance of order and harmony as
well.
According to the saints the
physical objects are always in a continuous movement. The
pyhsical material is alive and living. As a matter of fact,
even the objects that seem to be lifeless are in a state of
continuous movement. This power that makes the universe move
belongs to the being in the origin of the universe, namely
Allah.
In all of the saints
finding the right and the correct is not done by the intuitive
ability , but by means of kashf (discovery) that comes from
the essence .
The documents that he puts
forth are not based on estimations. Some saints by means of
feth (conquerence) can see all the events that have taken place
and that are going to take place as if they are playing on a tv
or a cinema screen. Here, there isn’t any place for the time
factor. It is never possible for an ordinary human being or a
social event to be against a saint or to resist the saint who
takes his power from the nothingness.
The evaluations of a saint
about the social problems are not formed in accordance with the
conditionings and the value judgements of that society. The
logic and the moral rules/values of a saint cannot be measured
by the value judgements of ordinary humans. A saint does not
live for his own benefit, however this sincere state cannot be
sensed by the outlook.
A saint never sees anything
as negative. Therefore, he never spends any effort to change
something or make it different. On the contrary, he finds the
traces of a perfect beauty in the things that we consider as
negative.
The human being wants to know
them with a great ambition and a desire and wants to follow
them, because they are the main theme and the real guides.
Unfortunately, it is impossible to find the ones who do not
declare about themselves.
The following verse is a very
good example that explains and describes the saints to us :
‘’Allah is the light of the
heavens and the earth. The similitude of Allah’s light is like
an oil lamp that has light in it. The lamp is in a delicate
glass. The glass is like a star of pearl and the lamp it is
lit from a from a fruitful olive tree neither of the West nor
of the East. The oil of this tree glows though fire has not
touched it. That is light upon light. Allah guides the ones
whom Hu wishes to Hu’s (Allah’s) own light. Allah gives/shows
examples to the humans. Allah knows everything (The Chapter of
Light/ An-Nur , Verse 35)
