ou do not have any difficulty in seeing the individual in a dull, spiritless life like it is the case in the animals. He accepts himself only as the image that he sees in the mirror;   to say it short he accepts himself only  as a heap of  meat and bones.

Hz.Rasul of Allah has emphasized this point very carefully and said ‘’Your bodies are your  carriages’’
Also, regarding the physical body Mawlana has used the statement ‘’horse’’ which also means the same thing.
In addition to this, in the Masnawi he says the following:
‘’Oh! My brother, you are only a thought and an idea. The remainder is bones, nerves, muscles and fibres’’.
In the daily life there are lots of events and concepts which amplify the assumption that the individual is only a physical body:
Values such as ‘’marriage, family, the religious feasts (bairam), temple ’’ etc  are some of  the points common in all the individuals.

We must certainly add to the above the legacy that comes via the genetics.

So, as a result when these common values and the said inheritance is  carved into the data base of the brain, then it becomes almost impossible for the individual to see and accept  himself as something outside the physical body.

As a matter of fact, it is not surprising to see  some kind of individualistic behaviour having  a potential and talent, but which  does not know why and for what  the things are being done. In most cases there is the expectation of getting something in return .The following idiom in the local language states this understanding ‘’IF I give you one rose, then  you should give me one back’’ .

Here, the objective should not be ‘’confessing one’s sins’’,  ‘’stating one’s regrets’’ or ‘’accepting oneself as weak and sinful and apologising from a deity and belittling oneself in front of  that supreme power’’ and  ‘’giving comfort to one’s soul’’.

The objective for the human being should be  to be enlightened about what he really is and he should try  to know what his truth is.

The individual who accepts himself only as a physical body, steps into the life in Barzah (defined as a passage which connects two ends, and a media between two things) and following this phase he steps into the dimensions of Heaven or Hell.

So long as the individual limits himself with his physical body, no matter where he reaches (whether heaven or hell), he would step into those circumstances by lacking the quality of knowing his truth…

In the  life at the Barzah, he will have the chance to catch the opportunity of finding his real self  for an instant or for a limited period. However, due to the fact that in the worldly life  he did not go into  different  frequencies, (he could not notice them) in other words because he could not analyse his individualistic value judgements, he would not be making use of this opportunity.

The understanding of Oneness that he  will catch in an imaginary form in those circumstances will leave its place after a certain time to the values that he had in the world. As a result, he will find himself in complete emptiness and suffer from his individuality.

Filling up that emptiness is possible only by means of  Sufism and the  undertsanding of  Oneness.

Ibn-I Arabi is the father of this undertsanding which is named as ‘’Oneness of Existence’’ and the main reference book is  ‘’Futuhat’’

When speaking about Oneness/ Unity I would like to point out an important detail:

It is very bad  if the individual feels himself as a physical body when he is in need and in trouble and feels himself as the absolute consciousness only on his happy days.   These people  give the impression that they have a weak, powerless character and they do not have any trace of  courage and determination.

If the individuals who have  build their empires on physical individuality speak about the life of  oneness and unity, then this indicates that this concept  is a hobby for them.

Entering the dimension  where there is no concept of  time and place and which is defined as ‘’things that no eye has seen, no ear has heard such that they are beyond what man can think ‘’ as accepting oneself as a physical body  means that you will be in a sleepy state in that dimesion.

This is also valid for going into the life in Heaven which is accepted as a dimension for development, discipline and mercy.

It is very natural for one who is sleepy in this world to be sleepy in the barzah life. It is also very natural for the one who is sleepy in the barzah life to be sleepy in the dimensions of  Heaven and Hell.

Everything that you live in your present state is tried to be explained based on one reason which is the physical existence, the physical body.

When analysing the events it is impossible for these individuals to think in a many sided manner, to investigate, to question, to observe and take into consideration the mystic data. Therefore, in the flow of life the individual is pushed towards a state of  ‘’body/sleep’’.

In the hadiths that support our views, Hz.Rasul of Allah states the following:-

‘’Divine reason is a loss for  the believer. Therefore, he tries to make use of it wherever he finds.’’

‘’The human beings are asleep and they wake up when they are dead’’.

IF, today you are considering  yourself only as a physical body and living accordingly, then there is no doubt that your sleep will continue.

Just know this!…
